Val d'Orcia

Val d’Orcia is a characteristic region of southern Tuscany, famous for its unique landscape, for its wonderful villages and for its food and wine excellence. The sublime glimpses of red earth, clay materials and the boundless views over the vineyards of the region recognized as a UNESCO heritage mark the space. Human work is manifested in the wonder of historic homes and cultivated fields. Among the noteworthy destinations we find the famous villages of Montalcino and Montepulciano, the beautiful S.Quirico d’Orcia, the village of Pienza, one of the Renaissance “ideal cities”, and Bagni Vignoni.

Chianti

The Chianti stretches between Florence and Siena up to the Valdarno: it is the iconic Tuscan landscape made up of olive trees and vineyards, which finds its maximum expression here. The region is characterized by charming country lanes, perfect for a tour by car or on a Vespa. The gastronomic excellences make it a real paradise for lovers of food and good wine. Among the recommended itineraries worthy of note are: the Chianti Classico route, through the beautiful towns of Greve in Chianti, Panzano, Gaiole, Radda and Castellina and the route along the Val di Pesa, where you can admire Tavarnelle, San Casciano, San Donato in Poggio, Badia a Passignano and other hidden gems in this beautiful area. The villages of San Gimignano and Monteriggioni as well as the church of San Galgano are mandatory stops whatever the chosen itinerary.

Pisa

There are numerous destinations towards Pisa: Lucca is certainly one of the main, a very special city with its perfectly preserved historic center and the ancient walls of the sixteenth century. There is also the medieval village of San Miniato, home of the white truffle, and an obligatory stop for lovers of good food, as well as the marvelous Volterra, a hilly village with imposing walls, which with its 3000 years of history represents a true pearl of region. Finally, it is not possible to get lost in Pisa, with the iconic Leaning Tower and the Campo dei Miracoli, true treasures of Romanesque-Gothic art and architecture, and with a historic center that is reflected in the waters of the Arno and tends the ear to the sea.
